About

In 1992, Edward Lewis established a band within a local Methodist Church to create a gathering place for individuals to engage in music. Over time, this band's composition has evolved into a diverse assembly comprising community members, band directors, and active and retired musicians.  The band has an extensive collection of musical pieces that surpasses 2000 selections, ensuring a broad spectrum of musical encounters that render participation in our ensemble exceptionally enriching.

We actively showcase our musical talents across Volusia County, providing entertainment at retirement centers, nursing homes, churches, universities, and special occasions. If you have a particular event in mind, please don't hesitate to contact us to arrange a performance.

Our repertoire spans various genres: patriotic compositions, spirited marches, contemporary band adaptations, beloved Broadway melodies, and carefully chosen classical compositions. Our band currently boasts an approximate membership of 40 individuals, and we enthusiastically welcome anyone with a passion for music to join our ensemble.

Daytona Beach Concert Band strives to provide quality entertainment that will accentuate the intrinsic joy of music in all members and audiences.
